The Tradition automatic retractable bollards, are composed of four structural elements, the patented Monobloc Urbaco. The casing, cast in one piece, integrates cast sliding rails and mechanical supports in the very same block. Its impact resistance is very high as it is made of cast steel (thickness up to 24 mm (7/8″). The cover Cast in one piece, 10-years warranty for the highly resistant cover in cast steel. It protects the bollards’ environment. The shock energy received by the bollard is divided by its long jacketing into counter-components and is then relayed to the embedded casing. A thick plastic ring guides the bollard’s head up and down and reduces friction and noise. The bollard head, with a thickness of up to 11 mm. (3/8″) constructed in steel, stainless steel, or cast iron, provides a superior mechanical resistance.
